Reception Centerpieces

From elegant to simplistic, none of these reception centerpieces are as hard to create as you might think!

It's a matter of having access to all the right florist supplies and the time to spare. You can end up saving hundreds . . .even thousands of dollars by doing it yourself.

This centerpiece is truly lovely . . .yet very simple to do! Wrap a box with either muted wedding paper or simply white or silver paper. Using an Oasis Iglue cage, create a small spray of flowers to top your design with! Be sure to keep the Oasis wet right up to the day needed and mist the flowers with Finishing Touch..

This outstanding centerpiece is easier than you think. You'll need a tall clear vase. Choose a heavy enough one to counterbalance the weight of the flowers on top. Design your flowers in an Oasis Sphere, flattened on the bottom, and secured in a small, reflective flat-bottomed container with Cling. It also helps to use florist anchor pins attached to the bottom of the dish with florist clay.

Several of these will help secure the ball of Oasis foam. Design by inserting short cut roses into the foam. Place a pillar candle on the top by using a Pillar Candle stake with a dab of florist clay to secure the candle well.

This arrangement should be transported separately, then place the arrangement on top of the glass vase with white Cling.

Layer colored foam powder on the bottom of a clear, shallow dish. Insert short cut flowers.

Slide beads on steel grass, bend and insert into the foam.

Loop a shallow handful of lemon grass and corsage tape securely. Mist the Gerbera daisy with Finishing Touch. to seal the flower. Keep in water tubes until right before the reception - then have a helper slide the tubes off before the guests arrive.

This beautiful arrangement is made with chocolate brown Gerberas, green cymbidium orchids and green pomps. Cluster the flowers in groups. Insert them into an Oasis Sphere similar to the instructions for the red rose arrangement at the top of this page.
