Can you REALLY save on Do It Yourself wedding flowers? Hmmmm . . . let's have a reality check on what flowers could cost by checking out well known florists . . .

Wow!! Professionally made bridal bouquets can run upwards of hundreds of dollars apiece. A corsage and boutonniere set can be $25 to $60 a set (depending on how elaborate you get and what area of the country you live in). I'm not knocking florists . . . I was one for years.

Professionals have to charge inflated prices in order to pay operating costs, salaries of floral designers and sky rocking delivery costs. That's why labor runs so high on wedding work.

It's doubtful unless you have a Tax Retail License and plan to resell your flowers for profit. You may be buying directly from a flower farm online - but you are definitely paying higher prices than a flower wholesale warehouse pays. Let's compare some prices:

Trust your eyes. The so-called "free shipping" is definitely covered in the inflated prices they charge. We charge realistic shipping charges on both fresh flowers and hard goods. I'm not going to play games and tell you shipping is free. Fresh flowers HAVE to go overnight. It's expensive. But I'd rather lay the costs out on the table and let you know what to expect rather than to use a gimmick like flashing "FREE SHIPPING" . . . when we all know that those costs are figured in that price somewhere!

Why is it so expensive to ship if I'm only buying a few flowers? Answer - because FedEx charges us. Period. In this case, the more you buy, the better the shipping gets. Our goal is to have you buy the flowers YOU WANT - without making you buy buckets and buckets filled with flowers you don't want or need. Frankly - we cannot ship one bunch of roses across the country at overnight shipping rates for free. There's not enough profit built in. We try to keep our prices reasonable without forcing you to buy a lot more flowers than you need.

Farms usually push ROSES and are fairly competitive on those prices. They aren't really interested in selling you greenery, a mixture of other flowers or hard goods. That's why their prices on those types of items are so high and forces you to buy in large quantities. How many brides need ten bunches of tree fern?

You can if you buy the flowers and hard goods (bouquet holders, florist foam, etc.) at a reasonable price and provide the labor yourself. Labor at professional shops often run at 100% markup or more . . . and that's after flower prices have ALREADY been at least doubled in cost.

We ship our flowers exactly the same way the others do - FedEx overnight. We stand by the freshness IF you are careful to follow the recommended product processing procedures and do it promptly once the flowers have arrived.

Like our competitors, we require that the customer must activate their flower warranty a short time after arrival. That way we know the flowers have not sat in the sun on a hot doorstep for hours. These are living products. They MUST BE OPENED AND PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY to validate the freshness guarantee. Therefore, you must track your order and be ready to receive it into your home immediately upon arrival.

If your order contains hard good items, we reserve the right to ship those earlier at lower ground rate fees. We coordinate the entire order to arrive in good condition and ready to use or process immediately.

Read more about our Shipping/Guarantee Policy before ordering any fresh flowers to be sure you understand how to activate your warranty.

WHAT OTHER WEBSITE OFFERS EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN ONE PLACE? WE SHIP FROM A FULL WORKING WHOLESALE WAREHOUSE LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE UNITED STATES. YOU ARE PURCHASING FROM ONE OF THE LARGEST FRESH FLOWER WHOLESALERS IN THE MIDWEST. Yup - same ones hundreds of professional shops buy from!
