Bowl tape is a waterproof tape used by florists to secure Oasis to the container. If you plan on cutting and filling a large number of centerpiece bowls, don't forget the tape! Sometimes called "green tape" or "greening tape", it doesn't refer to the color - rather the fact that florists use it to secure the foam before "greening" it in with various varieties of green ferns, grasses, etc. before putting in the flowers. The goal is to conceal the mechanics so it is not seen by the guests.
